Aqua-Woman and SpiderMan

once at 7.am in the morning the sun rised and so did the awesome spiderman. He fought crime and nasty people.One day  peter parker went to the zoo and his Tingling spider sense  said that someone or something was in trouble next a horrible scream was let out.It was done by the zoo keeper. next minute a gorilla escaped then peter parker went to secretly transform into his spider man costume and when he came back another guy was fighting the gorilla and His name was Kraven the hunter he  was a super villain and all he wanted to do was kill spider man . Spiderman used his webslinger  unfortunately it was not strong enough so he just broke out of it and then he picked spider man up and through him over the fence of a penguin enclosure and he couldn't swim so he nearly drowned.Then aqua-woman came to the rescue and walked on water, dived in the water breathed underwater and swim very fast and very dangerously saved spider man. Then we both used our power`s together and karpow, the super villain was webbed up and defeated. and the crime fighters saved all people in new York from kraven the hunter.

Peeling Potatoes

On Thursday my class Room 11 went over to our buddy class Room Eight and Room Five. My buddies were Coby and Macana. We went over to our buddy class because  we were going to peel potatoes. It felt weird doing it at school. When we were in class the juniors were getting taught how to use a peeler but they weren’t to sure. So I had to show them how to do it. When we started peeling we had a potato and a couple of peelers.  I showed my buddies how to do it and they were fine. After that we had one potato finished. Then someone else came to me. It was Coby. So he brought a big kumara. It was hard to peel so I finished it off for him. There were still some bits on it but it came off.

When we were finished we lined up and went out to where the hangi was put in the ground. Then we went back to class.

and that is how we learnt how to peel properly.

Goldie locks	giant	secret cave	chased by giant

Once there lived a girl named Goldilocks she lived in a secret cave , she loved it there.  One day a giant came by so Goldilocks hid until he was gone, the next day Goldilocks was wandering in her garden but!!! then she felt the ground wobbling like crazy.  I hope it’s not that giant again explained goldilocks and it was ,she tried to hide again but the giant saw her running as fast as she could all the way to her hiding spot but then the giant started chasing her all the way to town. when they ended  in town Goldilocks saw a house so went and hid behind it and hoped that the giant did not see her. Goldilocks hid for five minutes then the giant came up behind her and scared her he picked her up and  threw her into a hay bale it didn't hurt of course because it is soft then I quickly got out of the hay and ran  to my best friend's house her name was Lilly she said why are you here and then I said no time to talk I’ve got to hide  so she hid under the spare bed and and then the giant picked up the house threw it away and lifted up everything when he found her he started chasing her again but when she was hiding Goldilocks thought about what to do when he picked her up again.  When he picked her up she did this  she talked  to him and said why are you chasing me Goldilocks shouted he said that he was hungry and wanted something to eat so he tried eating someone when the giant had finished talking I said you should have asked me for some food because I have so much of it like a collection of giants food I have collected over the past shouted Goldilocks, after we had finished our conversation the giant said sorry and so did Goldilocks and they became friends and then they lived all happily ever after.

Once a long time ago when I was one I was very calm ,but one day I was not very calm, I running very fast around the room and knocking everything over. after I had calmed down I went outside to have some fresh air and I went under the deck and I found some wood and I played around with it but then I cut myself and that wood was a secret. so I found my owner  and she pulled my splinter out but one day  my owner heard me scratching the wood and she looked under the deck and I revealed my secret and said that that was how I kept getting splinters so she blocked up the deck and I never went under their again in fact I was not allowed outside again. and that is the end of my story.

I am writing about my Grandma so  my story you should see what she looks like, Her actions, Also about her personality. Looks like, She has short blonde curly hair, she is short in height. She has glistening blue eyes as blue as the sky and always wears makeup to  cover her wrinkles. my grandma has light skin and also has a big smile and also is medium size . She wears glasses when she needs to read something or plays something Actions, my  grandma loves knitting in fact she is making billions of dolls clothes, She does a lot of sewing and she helps my mum make Kapahaka dresses for school. Also she usually plays Candy crush on her iPad while grandad is getting up to mischief. Grandma  is also very good at cooking and baking cakes and muffins and cooks nice roast pork. To get money she cleans her friends house and cleans her own house and my house. Most weekends and holidays she goes all over the world like France , England and all around New Zealand.

Personality, To be helpful she does things for People like Babysitting and cooking dinner for People and letting them stay the night. She is a caring old woman and she always looks beautiful but sometimes she gets furious and grumpy. I know she loves her grandchildren and gives them a lot of of attention but when they're naughty she does not give any attention but the best thing about it is she is always happy.

The most important thing is that she loves us and that she is my grandma.

here are some jumps set up in the paddock go jump over those.

groom your horse and treat it.

i will teach you how to calm your horse when it gets excited.

My new Kitten Bella

My new Kitten Bella

On Friday I got a new Kitten named Bella. I got her because my other cat is lonely, well not lonely but has no other cat friends, so we got her from my cousins sienna and Harlow  because  they had seven cats/kittens. They had a cat called Millie and she had five babies , four boys one girl also a bigger cat called poppy. So when they were eight weeks they had their shots then went to their homes.

When we got Bella she was as calm as calm but on Saturday when we got her toys food and kitty litter she got HYPO and boom asleep. Every night I find her sleeping on my shoulder when I get up to get a drink and I’m like MOVE BELLA! but she does not listen I find her very annoying when I am doing something and she is in my way playing with her destroyed mouse.

She looks like a little brown and black mouse running around the house. Bella has a little patch of ginger and a white toe different to the rest of her toes. She is a tabby with black outlines  and brown all over she is the size of a rat.

and that is my new kitten Bella.

Dear Mr Gifkins

I think we should not have homework because we do it anyway.

We should not have maths homework or reading homework.

Firstly, why should we have homework, homework is a waste of our time because most of us students have sport like swimming, netball and rugby after school. Also most of us students are to busy and never get time to do homework ,  and some nights we go out for dinner or we have to go family events. Do we really need more stuff to do?

Secondly, do you know about the maths homework, I don’t think that we should have that either. don’t we learn enough maths at school? and besides we do it at home sometimes, as well so I think we should not have maths homework.

Thirdly, I think that we should not have reading homework as well because we might not get time to do our reading homework because some of us kids have early dinner or have an early bedtime. don’t we have books at home we read every day and that is practicing isn't it?

In my opinion I think we should not have reading homework, maths homework or homework for all the reasons above so that is my opinion why we should not have homework.

supermarket against

Dear the Hastings direct council

                                     

        I think we should NOT have a supermarket by Parkvale School because it will cause too much distraction.

Firstly it could disturb people, who are  in the classrooms working and that is not good.

Pupils might not hear the teacher talking if their is LOUD noise coming from the supermarket  .

Secondly Parkvale School and Mr Rowe will have to pick up all the rubbish that the supermarket brings as well as ours and that is so not sustainable.

Thirdly it could cause too much traffic around the area and we have got enough traffic around without trucks and cars and everything going into the supermarket.

My opinion is we should not have a supermarket because it is too much trouble and we are perfectly happy with things as they are.

my reading activity

my leaning for reading is that we are looking up what some words mean out of our reading books and putting them on our kahoots and then putting them on tagul cloud.

The most exciting moment in my holidays

A moment in my holidays

YAY sienna is here, when sienna walks through the door  mum tells us that their is a surprise for us. A little while later sienna and I go into my room to have some fun but then sienna tells me that she knows the surprise.

when sienna and I go back out to the lounge

mum said get your jerseys we are are going to the place. so we get in the car and go to the place.

finally we get into town and the place is the movies!!!, when we go inside I could hear people talking like they never  have before and I could hear the popcorn popping in the cabinet it was so loud.

when the theatre was open we went in and found our seats, 10 minutes latter the movie starts to start so we got comfortable and started to watch the movie. the movie was inside out!!!

half way in the movie anger gets so angry because one of Riley's  memory’s fall into the dump were they never get seen again it was exciting to see what happens. and the people in the move are anger,disgust,sadness,joy and fear.

Finally the movie finished and we got out of our seats and went home when we got home sienna and I went into my room again and played camps we built a tent outside out of blankets and chairs it was  fun.

when sienna went home I felt excited for the next day.

one day when my netball team was playing netball,I had to be defense

and the coach(my mum) said she liked what I was doing so at the end of netball she gave me player of the day I was so happy because their was only 3 more games until the end of netball.

Car on fire

On the weekend I went to a fire station in Havelock North and I had went with my cousins Malia and Briar and my sister Jorgia. It was an awesome morning.

First I went and watched a fireman putting out a fire in a pot.The fireman had  a long black stick with a cup on the end of it and had a bucket with water in it. He scooped some water out of the bucket and then put it on the fire and  it was so cool to watch and hot. Jorgia and Briar screamed.

after that we went through the house with smoke and it was fun but jorgia screamed in it. The fireman who was helping helped her through but Briar refused to go through it.

We had a look around and found a place where you can go inside and watch a tv.the was what it is like to watch a fire.then jorgia and briar and malia sat in an ambulance then I ran over to grandad and he said the fire is about to start so ran to mum and said the fire is about to start so I came back with mum jorgia and briar and marlia then it started when it started Jorgia started to cry and cry and cry and briar was, but malia was fine.

    My AWESOME weekend

On the weekend I went to the skatepark with my cousin sienna, harlow, my mum, sienna’s mum (sarah) and don’t forget my sister jorgia.

 

when we got there I got my bike out  of the boot of the car ,grabbed my helmet and wheeled it excitedly through the gate.

then I started riding it to the skatepark sarah and harlow were the fake police then I was the fake police then jorgia and my trusty sidekick sienna.

when sarah and harlow were the police sienna was speeding and jorgia ran a red light. I was lucky I didn't get pulled over or anything but when jorgia was the police she thought I ran a red light but I didn’t it looked like I did because it just turned green.

after all that this big boy crashed into jorgia and hurt her leg and then he said she was on the wrong side of the road and he was then my mum went and told him off. the end

my Anzac story with me in it

my class and I have been writing some story's of how we think the war went including us in it and this is what it says.

April the 25th,1915

boom smash I could hear the turks firing their guns getting ready to fight. next minute everyone starts to get into row boats when it was my turn to climb down I could feel the hard ,rough, and wobbly rope ladder  next minute we start rowing the row boats. my boat stopped halfway to the shore so we got out into freezing cold water.                

when we got to shore I was nearly as cold  as Ice and all I could smell was the mix of gunpowder and the salt water and also the smell of smoke covering the place.  there where the Turks fighting and firing their guns at us finally I got my gun ready so I started  firing at them. I have killed 3 allready so I am doing great I was still quite cold from hopping into the water.

I could hear the crashing and banging and don't forget the screaming from all the solders that were being killed so I just ignored the  distraction that I am heard.  I just kept firing and look I killed 10 more that is a good start all right I can still hear the screaming of my friends being killed.  

after a few days later all I could smell was rotting dead bodies.

then we started the war again this time I was not doing well I dodged a bullet that nearly got me and then I dodged another one and that time it hit my friend behind me.

The announcement came that the war was over and we had won.  On the way home i was feeling sad because most of my friends had died.  Feeling exhausted, but lucky to be alive and be home with my family.

what to do if you get lost

• try and use your bag to keep warm some how
• try to stay calm or you might do something silly
• try not to panic
• stop and listen for someone to start calling or making noises  
• yell for help someone might be close enough to hear you call
• stay on the track and stay where you are
• mark the way by bending branches or doing something to remind you that you have already been there
•  try and make some shelter out of branches or something

YAY for christmas my sister and I got bunnies they are so tiny and my sister and I  called them daisy and sandy they are sisters and they love each other so much. my one witch is daisy smells like daisy’s and she likes daisy’s to eat much more than her sister sandy and daisy is pure white and has got red eyes that is why I called her daisy. sandy my sister jorgia’s one which is sandy she is a sand colour and she has black eyes and smells like flowers and twitch's her nose like daisy.

when we got them I felt so grateful they were so cute when we put them in their hutch. when I first touched them they were so soft as soft as a fluffy cat I love them so much. now they are so big they fight now and daisy has got a nasty sore by her back leg and it so bumpy. but it is healing up so quick.

they are growing up so quick. they are going to get very big sandy is going to just be bigger then her mother and daisy is going to grow just smaller than her mother. by Tia
