I am learning to writ persuasively

we have been learning to write persuasively and write a letter to someone like the Hastings direct council and people like that.

The Learning Intention: I am learning to write Persuasively
The Success Criteria:How I can achieve this
1. State your opinion in the Introduction  and who is your audience
2. Give 3 detailed reasons to support your opinion. One reason per paragraph
3.Try to give facts or statistics to support your reasons.
4. Use emotive and persuasive language.
5. Go to the progression on the writing wall to check where you are at with writing persuasively.
6. Assess what you are doing well. Reflect and action what your next step is.
supermarket against
Dear the Hastings direct council

I think we should NOT have a supermarket by Parkvale School because it will cause too much distraction.

Firstly it could disturb people, who are  in the classrooms working and that is not good.
Pupils might not hear the teacher talking if their is LOUD noise coming from the supermarket  .

Secondly Parkvale School and Mr Rowe will have to pick up all the rubbish that the supermarket brings as well as ours and that is so not sustainable.

Thirdly it could cause too much traffic around the area and we have got enough traffic around without trucks and cars and everything going into the supermarket.

My opinion is we should not have a supermarket because it is too much trouble and we are perfectly happy with things as they are.
